TEACH. How do you want to be remembered?
Pachika Meditation Studio started because a friend suggested that I should teach a meditation class at my house one Saturday morning. She said that I was always advising her to meditate to get answers, but that she didn’t know how to do it. So, we made a plan and invited eight friends.
I can still remember how excited I was while decorating the room where we had the class. I covered the windows with beautiful blankets, set little candles around the room, played soft spa music, and arranged colorful yoga mats throughout the room. It looked absolutely beautiful, inviting, and cozy. When my friends arrived, some of them even cried because they felt the warmth of the environment. I was delighted that their first experience with meditation began in such a loving way.
After four years of teaching, we opened a yoga studio located in a magical piece of land where nature welcomes you as you enter. We offer meditation and yoga classes, teach workshops, and private sessions with the intention to teach simple ways to stay healthy at emotional and physical levels.
The Pachika Method
The Pachika Method is a suggested guide of easy steps to reduce stress and achieve relaxation. It combines breathing techniques, mindfulness meditation, and body awareness activities. Breathing is the primary tool that we teach to calm the mind.
Being able to help others to learn something new brings joy to one’s heart. The excitement that I experienced when preparing the room was great, but the delight of facilitating a pleasant learning experience was even more rewarding. I hope that it was as memorable for them as it was for me.
